Game crashes when grabbing crafted items from crafting table using shift+left click

When using shift+left click to quick grab items from a crafting table, the game crashes with this error:

The game crashed whilst rendering screen
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Rendering screen
Exit Code: -1

This also happens in the 2x2 workbench in the survival inventory.
