Particles can be produced when trying to break blocks in adventure mode

Breaking a block in survival mode and switching to adventure mode allows you to produce particles when attempting to break another block.

To reproduce:

1. Break a block in survival mode.
2. Switch to adventure mode.
3. Try to break another block.
