Dripleaf vines not connecting when replaced.

If you break the leaf of a dripleaf then  place a dripleaf from the opposite side on top of the vine the vines from the existing plant and the newly placed plant do not connect. Even after the world reloads the vines do not automatically connect or break the top leaf which has the unconnected vine
