Boats wont destroyed if you shoot it with rocket

I shot A boat with a Rocket with a crossbow

What I expected to happen was...:

That the boat gets destroyed, as soon as the Rocket hits the boat, just like it happens,

if something elese like an Arrow or a trident does.

What actually happened was...:
The Rocket exploded and nothing else did happen. The boat was still alive.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I load the crossbow with a Firework Rocket
2. I aimed on the boat and I shot on that boat
3. The Firework exploded. Boat was still intact
