Minecraft Skins obscure my screen

On random occasions when playing on Multiplayer Servers, my screen gets obscured by some random player's skin. It's happened to me on three different occasions and is stuck there, even in the main menu. I have to close the game and relaunch Minecraft for it to disappear.
