Open Launcher however fails to open

I am clicking Minecraft Launcher, however the program fails to launch.

Only installed Minecraft Java a week ago and was working fine.  Have un-installed, re-installed, even re-downloaded the Launcher Install again, but no luck.

My son (who Minecraft is for) did have Discord and Steam set up to 'automatically start' on system start up, however I have disabled these and have even removed them totally.

Have also ensured that the Java is current, etc.

Not sure where to turn too from here.
