Every time I type a word in chat, my whole minecraft shuts down.

Every time I type a word in chat, my whole minecraft shuts down.

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected to happen was that chat would've worked great and i could talk to my fellow minecraft peers.

*What actually happened was..
It shut down my minecraft and i and to re log back in
Steps to Reproduce:
1. ... First, open up chat.
2. ... Second, type something into chat.
3. ... Third, watch as your minecraft dreams of talking, goes away.
