Nether portal when placed creates graphical glitches until you save and relog in

When I played my Minecraft world it was like every other Minecraft world, but when I found diamonds and placed the nether portal, all I can say is, Graphical Glitches Everywhere, and another bug with the water take a look at the glitch below for proof
