Drifting camera can't be turned off

When in creative mode, it's hard to place blocks as I wish because moving around causes the camera to drift, as opposed to stopping quickly when you stop moving. This is annoying to me when I want to build, and is not a bug. However I had to report this to get a refund. I think building in creative mode works just how I like on Switch, so will play on that instead.
