i couldnt see on a server

i couldnt see on a server
What I expected to happen was...:
To see normaly on a server where i was palying on survival 

What actually happened was...:
when i was loging on the server i wasnt able to see anything until i was breaking or placing a block, i thought the issue will disapear so i joined the survival from that server where guess what, i still wanst able to se anything until i was placing or breaking a block and if i was doing this i was able to see half of the chunk and i was suposed to break or place every half of the chunk if i wanted to see something
EDIT: the bug is on 1.16.2 but on the affects versionthig i put 1.16.5 beacuse it didnt let me to put 1.16.2 beacause it says no matches found at the affects version/s thingy
