Mouse sometimes Works but doesn't other times.

On my Mac Big Sur 11.1 I have an issue with my mouse. Sometimes I can click and break blocks and place blocks but other times I can't. I can also sometimes place blocks with my left mouse button even though my control for breaking blocks is set to my right mouse button. I can also take items out of a chest with both my right mouse button and my left mouse button. Also this is a small bug it can make the game quite unplayable at times.
