90% of screen turned black and then glitched out.

I was messing around in the nether with the glow lichen creating water and making nether portals and suffocated my self in obsidian then suddenly 90% off my screen went black after tabbing out to make this report the screen glitched more (this only happened on Minecraft all other tabs were normal)
