minecraft doesnt want to join

I bought Java 3 days ago and whenever I try to join a multiplayer server it gives an error.

error: failed to log in : The autentication servers are currently down for maintenance

I've been waiting for the servers to go online for 3 days . my friend however could join every server and she was on the same wifi as me.

I've tried joining servers such as hypixel, cubecraft and a private one.

What do I do?
