Items renamed by a texture pack or subtitles changed (by a texture pack) are vanilla

I expected the items to be named the names in the en_us.json file

The names were vanilla

Steps to Reproduce:
1. have a resource pack that changes the names of items or subtitles
2. run minecraft
3. items not renamed
