kb problem with new glow squid

ok, so I was going to hit a glow squid with my stick that had knockback 3200 but it wouldn't move unlike any other animal so I hit it with a stick with knockback 2 because that was an actual enchantment you can get and it still wouldn't move it only goes up a little and it had the same effect in the water. I then hit it with a regular squid to make sure it wasn't just a feature and it took knockback so I was sure it was a bug. I have concluded that the new glow squid does not take horizontal knockback on land or in water.
