sudden drops in fps

Hello, I have been having problems with sudden fps drops in minecraft version 1.16.5 for less than a week, I tried to reinstall the game but it did not work. Fps dropped from 200 and 300
at 15 or 0. And forgot to add that I was playing the sigleplayer without any mods. Please help solve this
