Minecrfat game isen't loading you in and not responding it says

This could be affected on every version but when you press play it starts loading in until it stops then it says minecraft not responding and brings you to a white screen it told me it's because of discord but it made it that I can't use the discord to disable overlay so is there a way to mkae your minecraft work and minecraft worked for mr before but then it crashed again when I downloaded optifne from Optifne.net
