Servers down

  hi Minecraft or other people that see this, I got minecraft and something is off first it was the problem that it couldn't resolve the hostname, I fixed that but then something else didn't work when I tried to get on Hypixel and it said ' The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance. ' could someone please help I wanted to play minecraft on my laptop for over 3 years now, this makes me sad.
