Trading with a villager once increases the prices a lot

Got a librarian selling thorns 3 for 12 emeralds. Bought ONE bookshelf from it and after a few minutes its prices increased dramatically. Images here because I cannot upload the file directly onto this report.

 

edit: this happened on my friend’s server, it runs spigot with no plugins related to villagers
