cant play :(

hi Mojang, I got Minecraft and when I try to join my friend's mc server it says the authentication servers are down and I tried another server and it says the same thing so I wait a week and it says the same thing, and I don't know how to fix it. but I did buy java mc with my Xbox account

is that a problem?
