Unable to join any multiplayer servers hypixel ect.

An issue appears on the screen when i click join: Failed to login: the authentication servers are currently down for maintenance. Now i do know that this is a common maintenance alert but this issue has been going on for three days now and i have not been able to resolve the problem with normal methods. I have tried flushing my dns and restarting my internet, i have tried making new account and logging out of my old one this didn't work. I have also tried power cycling my internet and this also didn't work.
