Not able to wear a skin

Ive been trying for a while now to finally get my skin but everything I do just doesnt work. I deleted the launcher, the .minecraft file, I even checked my xbox settings to see if I would even be able to see my skins. Yes, the skins I use are 64x64 pixels and ive checked my control pannel to see if I had something there I needed to delete but nothing.
