Realms error 429

We have a new realms server and a lot of the time no one can join because we get an error saying 'Realms: (429)' when trying to load the realms page, or one saying '-429' when trying to join a specific realm. This has happened on five different computers/accounts, both mac and PC, and restarting the computer does nothing and the only solution seems to be to wait a few hours before trying again, after which it still doesn't always work. It seems that a lot of people are having this same issue online and no one has found a solution, which is very frustrating as we are paying for this service. I hope this can be fixed soon.
