My launcher crashes mid loading

When I open the launcher and press play my game suddenly crashes mid loading. 

Example: I press play and the green bar loads normally then it suddenly stops and my launcher crashes.

Thins I tried: re-installing the game, deleting most of the things in .minecraft folder, going to properties and compatibility then changing to windows vista and back to the windows 8.

I don't know if this is relevant but, I think this can be related to the windows defender or about a server I tried creating in 1.8.9 . And now my friends can't get on my server.
