inventory selection

hello, whomever is reading this I recently downloaded the new launcher for minecraft1.6 and I am very excited for the horse update. everything works fine except for the inventory where when I try to left click something to pick it up I cant and I have to drag everything and shift click doesn't work, I hope you guys can fix this issues that im sure others have reported. THANK YOU!!!!!
