Upon death, axolotls drop tropical fish

Hi there, basically the issue is that if you spawn an axolotl in and it dies, it will drop tropical fish. Was this intended? I did this by either putting them on fire and putting the fire away so I could see what they drop and by spawning them in the Nether to see what they drop. Either way, tropical fish are dropped.
