Sculk sensors are not activated upon placing water in the nether

Sculk sensors are not activated upon placing water in the nether.

How to reproduce

1. Go into the nether and place a sculk sensor
2. Place water next to the sculk sensor
   →  Notice how to sculk sensor does not detect the sound of the water being removed

Additional Information

I've attached a video which shows this issue. In this video, you can see that sculk sensor is not activated upon placing water in the nether.
