Endermite still disappearing

I've been playing in 20w46a as it's pretty stable, except that old glitch where named endermites disappear. I think for some reason the 2 minute timer is ticking when it's in the minecart cause the nametag isnt appearing above the mob in the minecart. broke my enderman farm
