Home Screen black and game flashes black

I just updated my launcher to play with the latest snapshot. Prior to the update my minecraft was running totally normal, but now when I try to play, the Home screen (the one with the moving background, singleplayer, multiplayer, realms, etc.) turns black. I can still click singleplayer, multiplayers, etc. I am able to do everything, but the screen is just black. When I play the game, I can move around normally, but the screen keeps flashing black. Other installed games and emulators run normally, though they are not Java. The launcher has no problems, just the actual game.
