Sprint Glitch/Bug

Me and my friends have encountered a glitch/bug where when we sprint it works fine, but for some reason there is a massive delay before the sprint actauly engages, the double tap happens somewhat 1-3 seconds before the actual sprint! This happens both in creative and survival!
