Lava and Waterlogged kelp interaction

No interaction between lava flooding on the top of a block of water with a waterlogged kelp in it.

Also occurs with seagrass

What I expected to happen was...:
Transformation of the water block into an obsidian block

What actually happened was...:
Lava spraying on top of the water block without interaction

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place down water on top of dirt blocks
2. Place kelp on top of the dirt block
3. Empty a Lava bucket on the water block
