I can't make horse armor

I have tried to make horse armor but it does not work.

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought that the armor would come up once i had put in everything thig in the crafting table.

What actually happened was...:
Nothing

Steps to Reproduce:
1.... It might not work on your computers. Step one put in the recipe for the horse armor.
2. ... try to pick it up from the little square.
