I cannot play Minecraft 1.9 and above

I cannot play Minecraft 1.9 or above every time i load a single player or multiplayer world or server it keeps after it says joining world it instantly says saving world. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the game and I did the same thing to the Minecraft versions please help!
