A bug with gravel and torches

When destroying gravel with a shovel, and having torches in your offhand, there is a bug. If you hold down both left and right-click, you will break the gravel, and then place the torches, and the gravel will not fall and break on the torch like it is supposed to. It doesn't move and the torch stays where it is.
