Sensory turning glitch/bug

Hello, I am having a problem with being able to turn behind me in-game on minecraft.deb. There seems to be some sort of invisible barrier which prevents me from turning around, which dosen't seem intentinal as I can move around nomally in the windows version. Please reply ASAP.
