Cats don't have one paw! Mojang, did you cut off their paw on purpose, or was it a mistake?

I went to look at the snapshot 1.17 and spawned the cat (I don't know why) and noticed that it did not have one paw (front left), I decided to check, spawned a bunch more, everyone did not have one paw (front left).
