Creepers explode too fast NOT INVALID. PLEASE FIX

What I expected to happen was...:
creepers should have a 5-7 second delay before exploding

What actually happened was...:
 instead it is like .05 of second and there is no time to react to kill the creeper

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go into hard mode
2. wait until night
3. try to kill a creeper. they explode too fast and cant be killed
