Lightning Rod

So I don't exactly know if it is supposed to be this way but i placed a lighting rod and started a thunderstorm, But there was barley any lightning and when there was lightning it went for the ground more often than the lightning rod. (Ps this is my first time reporting a bug so if i submitted it wrong i am sorry.
