Buttons on amethyst and trident fire

Hello, I have two bugs here. One, is that a button on a amethyst block next to an iron door, does not open the iron door, while a pressure plate does. So far I have only experienced a bug when a button or lever is on the door frame around a door. When the button or the lever are on the floor, made of amethyst, it seems to work fine. My second bug is that I can not put out fires while I have a trident in my hand. Thank you for taking the time to look at these bugs, and Im excited for the official 1.17 release!
