Got Kicked For Spamming On Single player

So I was just going to sleep and I noticed if you pressed tab it selects your name, so of course I start spamming for fun you know. But when I started spamming after a little while it said "Kicked for spamming." and brought me to the server list which as I've said it was single player. Though this doesn't matter, its just weird.
