When using the Game mode Switcher when a Creeper or Skelton the mob still attacks the player even though they are in Creative

When using the Game mode Switcher when a Creeper or Skelton the mob still attacks the player even though they are in Creative. When a Creeper is blowing up and then switch your game mode to creative, the creeper doesn't know that I'm in creative mode and still blows up. When a skeleton is far away and then when the skeleton is about to fire, I switched my game mode to creative and then the skeleton was walking up to me about to fire, then realizes that I'm in creative mode.
