Fishing rods remain cast after switching dimensions

The Bug:

Fishing rods remain cast after switching dimensions.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Obtain a fishing rod and ensure that you're not within the spawn chunks.
2. Cast the fishing rod and switch dimensions by using the command provided below.

   /execute in minecraft:the_nether run tp @s 0 140 0

3. Attempt to cast the fishing rod once again.
4. Take note of how you retrieve the fishing bobber instead of throwing it, therefore indicating that fishing rods remain cast after switching dimensions.

Observed Behavior:

Fishing rods remain cast.

Expected Behavior:

Fishing rods would not remain cast after switching dimensions.
