Redstone block disappears/becomes carpet when pushed with carpets

I'm pushing carpets with a redstone block with pistons and it shows just carpets after a few minutes.

In the pictures first I placed 2 redstone blocks because I thought that it failed to place, but it didn't so on the 4th picture I removed it.
