What I expected to happen was...:
To get the new 1.6.2

What actually happened was...:
It kept on crashing before it started

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start up the new minecraft launcher then install the new 1.6.2
2. watch it start up.
3. then close and crash before your eyes
