Everytime I hit play on my new Minecraft launcher, it crashes!

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected to log in to play the new version of minecraft

What actually happened was...:
I hit play on the new launcher and it crashed

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I open the new launcher
2. I have my username and password in
3. I hit play.
4. My minecraft loads to the "Mojang" screen
5. It crashes to the crash report
