When joining a server. Minecraft Crashes.

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected it to successfully join the server.

What actually happened was...:
Minecraft Crashed

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in with Minecraft 1.6.1
2. I direct connected to ProsperCraft.com
3. It said Logging In, then crashed.
