Java.io.IOException

I'm playing on a private minecraft server, and after a while I am disconnected with the error message: "Internal Exception java.io.IOException: An existing connection has been forced to interrupt by the remote host". I have tried various firewall configurations, giving permission to java and minecraft, but it keeps giving me problems, I don't know what to do.
