My game keeps crashing when i open it on 1.16+. It works fine on 1.15 but the moment i put it at i.16 it crashes

I can open the launcher and run the game but if it is on 1.16 or higher the game crashes and i cant play. i have an i7 and a 2070 ti so i know my pc can run the new version of Minecraft but it just keeps crashing. i have attempted to restart my PC as well as reinstalling the game, but no luck.
