I purchased Minecraft java edition, but when i try to launch it i get an error message saying :"Sorry, unable to start minecraft, please check your configuration"

I expected the game to launch

What actually happened was...:
I got an error message saying: "Sorry, unable to start minecraft, please check your configuration"

Steps to Reproduce:
Download launcher

press play

thats it
