Some netherrack turns invisible when mined to quickly

I was just playing my singleplayer map and I started mining netherrack. When i was mining to find ancient debris, I realised that while mining, some of the netherrack would just disappear and not drop any blocks. You cant walk through it and when you right click it or reload the junks it re-appears.
